A Day in the Life of a Private Jet Traveler

What’s it really like to be a private jet traveler?

For many of our Jet Card clients and charter travelers across the Midwest, it’s not about glamour — it’s about efficiency, flexibility, and being in control of their day from start to finish.

Here’s a look at what a typical business day might look like for a Silverhawk Aviation client:

6:45 AM – Wake Up at Home, Not a Hotel

Unlike commercial travel, there’s no need to drive to a major airport the night before or arrive hours early. Our traveler lives in Omaha and is heading to a client meeting in Wichita. No lines. No parking garages. Just a smooth start to the day.

8:00 AM – Wheels Up from a Local Airport

They arrive at the FBO (private terminal) 15 minutes before departure. The Silverhawk team greets them, and they walk directly onto the aircraft. By 8:00 AM, they’re airborne — coffee in hand, reviewing notes for their meeting in total privacy.

9:15 AM – Land Minutes from the Meeting

By flying directly into a smaller airport near the client’s office, they skip rental car counters and city traffic. A car is waiting on the tarmac. They’re in the boardroom by 9:45.

2:00 PM – Depart on Their Schedule

The meeting wraps early — no problem. Their return flight adjusts with them. By 2:00 PM, they’re wheels-up again, catching up on emails and decompressing in a quiet, comfortable cabin.

3:15 PM – Home in Time for Dinner

They land back in Omaha with the rest of the afternoon open — no delays, no layovers, no missed family time. That’s what private jet travel delivers.

This is what being a “private jet traveler” really looks like: a productive day made smoother, faster, and simpler — from door to door.
